Synopsis

The nuns of the Order of the Capuchin Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration on Petrisberg in Trier have to leave their convent and move to Mainz. In 2016, the community consisted of only ten sisters aged between 43 and 87 (with an average age of 71). They jointly decided to give up the monastery because they could no longer sustain their religious way of life in this form. The remaining nuns move to the Convent of Perpetual Adoration in Mainz. But leaving a place that has been your home for many decades is hard.
